Douglas Westfall is an author, publisher, and teacher and has published America’s history for over 18 years. He continually discovers unread manuscripts and unpublished photography relating to the great stories of America’s history, from which he makes his books. By publishing his own works, he maintains the control over the quality and content of his books, and brings these first person accounts to the public through his lectures and presentations. In his public lectures, he brings to light the eye-witness accounts that he has collected throughout America.

These include fascinating true life experiences of Amelia Earhart, San Francisco’s 1906 Earthquake & Fire, the American Civil War, Custer’s Last Stand, and the Ranchos of California. His lectures come from the books he creates through his company, The Paragon Agency, Publishers and his books are offered for sale on his website: SpecialBooks.com and at book stores and shops across the nation.

Douglas has given presentations throughout the United States, Canada, The Philippines, Latin America, and Europe. As an educator, he has taught from the fourth grade through community college levels, and he offers historical presentations weekly, to grade schools for free. He chairs the Board of Trustees at the Orange Library and History Center, and the Orange County Santiago Library System, and is actively involved in the curation of historic archives and photography collections.
