This is the Story of
the Wreck and the Sinking of the
Titanic
From the Men
who were there
|
Nearly a century ago, the great American-owned steamship Titanic,
sank on it's maiden voyage from England to America. With severe
damage, insufficient lifeboats, and no help on the horizon,
the great ship sank in a matter of hours taking well more than half
of the 2,200 people to the bottom. Only rescue in the early morning
hours saved the survivors.
The mission began shortly after 2:00 pm and was last heard from five
hours later. A search was made, and sightings on both land and sea
continued for ten days, but no trace of men or planes was ever
found.
|
Was Captain Smith
of the Titanic at fault?
Were any of the people found in the water alive?
Did the designer Andrews do nothing to save people? |
 |
The answers are found within this book:
Story of the
Wreck of the Titanic
A graphic and
thrilling account of the sinking of the greatest floating palace
ever built, carrying down to watery graves, more than 1,500 souls.
